The Digs Story

We're thrilled to announce OVF’s investment in Digs, a cutting-edge collaboration tool for home builders. Digs is revolutionizing the way homes are built by bridging the gap between construction and homeownership. It's a game-changer for both builders and homeowners, offering a complete and detailed digital record of homes that includes everything from design choices to appliance warranties.

Unlike other construction software, Digs focuses on the homeowner's experience. With over 3 million new homes built annually in the U.S. and existing homeowners spending billions on improvements, Digs targets a massive market. It aims to digitally represent every home in the U.S., a bold vision backed by founders with a successful track record in home improvement and technology.

Digs is to home builders what Figma is to designers. It streamlines communication during construction, offering features like file storage, image markup, and AI-enhanced search. This not only boosts efficiency for builders but also adds value for homeowners. After construction, homeowners receive a detailed digital record of their home, like a car's CarFax report.

Digs primarily serves small to medium-sized custom home builders. It operates on a subscription model, charging builders monthly fees. The platform is free for vendors, with builders covering the costs. Digs also plans to launch a marketplace for home-related transactions, adding another revenue stream.

Digs differentiates itself by focusing on the homeowner's experience, a unique approach in a market filled with software focused on project management and scheduling.

The team, led by experienced founders who have previously built successful ventures, is poised to make Digs a leader in the construction tech industry.

Our investment in Digs is driven by its innovative approach and potential to transform the home building industry. With strong initial product traction and positive user feedback, Digs shows promise of becoming an essential tool for builders and homeowners alike. Our investment, along with support from other key investors – e.g., Fuse Ventures, Legacy Capital Ventures, and others, positions Digs for success.

Digs represents not just a new product but a new way of thinking about home construction and ownership. We're excited to be part of this journey and look forward to seeing Digs reshape the industry.
