We’re honored to announce that Deepthi has accepted the position of partner at OVF.

Deepthi has been serving as an Oregon Venture Fund investor-in-residence since January 2022 and as an investor since 2020. As a partner, Deepthi is a voting member of the fund’s 6-person investing team and splits her time primarily between sourcing investment opportunities and leading diligence sprints. An important component of her work is collaborating with the fund’s more than 180 venture partners to identify, support, and evaluate promising new ventures in the fund’s Oregon and Southern Washington region.

Previously, Deepthi was a senior manager at Deloitte, where she worked with leaders of some of the most iconic emerging and global companies in fintech, life science, and retail, among other sectors. During her 11 years with Deloitte, Deepthi performed due diligence on behalf of private equity clients, researched emerging industry and technology trends, and guided some of Deloitte’s larger strategic investments.

Deepthi serves on the board of the Oregon Entrepreneurs Network and holds a bachelor’s in computer science and an MBA.

Deepthi is excited to bring her breadth of experience to support entrepreneurs in building scalable businesses. “As an immigrant and a consultant, I had to constantly move for work and career. I am excited to now embrace the Oregon and SW Washington venture community and contribute to the local economy in a meaningful way.”

With Deepthi’s appointment to partner, the OVF investing team now consists of three women and three men, reaching our impactful goal of gender parity.
